<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission system which correctly manages the re- transmission memory of a server. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to a system for transmitting sequences of packets (RTP) from a server (10) to a mobile terminal (30). The terminal has a buffer (BM) for storing the packets received for a time referred to as the buffer traverse time, which has a minimum fixed value (TT).
