PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure contact terminal of the structure made shortened in its full length. SOLUTION: The pressure contact terminal 1 is in the order from the front constructed of: a connection part 2 connected with a mating terminal; and a pressure contact part 3 to receive and pressure-contact a wire by a bottom plate 6 with the cross section of U shape and facing side-plates 7, 7, wherein the pressure contact 3 is equipped on the front and rear thereof with a pair of pressure contact blades 4, 5.
