PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a push button switch which surely provides electrical continuity even if a foreign substance such as dirt is pinched at a fixed contact point. SOLUTION: A push button switch is provided with a housing 1 which comprises an housing part 1a, fixed contact points 2a and 2b disposed on the inner bottom surface of the housing part 1a, a movable contact point 4 which is, composed of an elastic piece for elastic deformation, opposed to the fixed contact points 2a and 2b for contacting/non-contacting, and a pressurizing member 5 which, provided on the movable contact point 4, pressurizes it for contacting to the fixed contact points 2a and 2b. The movable contact point 4 is provided with a first deformation tolerable part 4d which elastically deforms toward the fixed contact points 2a and 2b side when pressurized by the pressurizing member 5, and a second deformation tolerable part 4e which allows contact with the fixed contact points 2a and 2b by elastically deforming within the contact region with the fixed contact points 2a and 2b.
