PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectroscopic measuring instrument which measures the optical signal level at a high speed. SOLUTION: The spectroscopic measuring instrument spectrally separating light to be measured and measuring an optical signal level comprises a photodiode array consisting of a plurality of photodiodes for receiving light produced after the light to be measured was spectrally separated, a selection circuit for selecting an output signal from a photodiode of the photodiode array, and a controlling unit for making the selection circuit simultaneously select a plurality of adjacent photodiodes sequentially.
