<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive array antenna device performing calibration without interrupting communication with a mobile station and without degrading communication quality. <P>SOLUTION: A reception wave arriving direction estimation device 14 is provided and an estimated result is outputted to an array transmission signal processing part 15. Corresponding to an output result, either one of a transmission signal generator 16 setting weighting for directing transmission waves in a reception wave arriving direction to output of respective array transmitters 10 and a calibration signal generator 17 successively performing weighting for the respective array transmitters 10 and generating signals is selected. At the time of selecting calibration signals, correction amounts of amplitude fluctuations and phase shifts of the respective array transmitters 10 are calculated in a correction device 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
