<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it is possible to issue a certificate of a resident card, a copy of one's family register or the like, but it is impossible to execute a renewal procedure of driver's license, and, accordingly, a person who is about to renew his/her license is unable to renew his/her driver's license if he/she does not go to a driving license testing station and a police station. <P>SOLUTION: A license renewal system is provided with a renewal procedure terminal 1 that performs reading processing of a photograph 14 and an aptitude test of the person who is about to renew a license 11, and, if the person passes the aptitude test, transmits data read off the photograph after executing a course using video, and a license renewal server 3 that performs authentication processing for the person who is about to renew a license 11, and, if the person is authenticated, receives the data read off the photograph 14 from the renewal procedure terminal 1 to produce a new license 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
