<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrist watch with a radio function which has an appearance of high-class feeling. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna 17 for receiving long standard radio wave is housed in a case composed of a casing 12, casing 13, and case back 14. The casing 12, being constituted of a conductor material such as stainless steel, brass, and titanium, is provided with notches C1 and C2 at sections corresponding to both ends of the coil of the antenna 17 which is housed. The long standard electric wave is received by the antenna 17 after having passed the notches C1 and C2. The casing 12 is constituted from a non-conductor. Related to the case back 14, an outer frame 141 comprising a conductor material such as stainless steel, brass, and titanium engages with a disc part 142 comprising a nonconductor material such as glass material. The disc part 142 is surface treated/processed to provide the same apparent finish as of metal material. With the case of the configuration, the wrist watch with radio function is capable of receiving long standard electric wave, with appearance of high-class feeling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
