PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a high capacity additional heating and a higher efficiency.

SOLUTION: This heat pump hot water supplier comprises: a hot water storage tank 1 for storing the hot water heated by a heat pump heat source 15 from the above; a bath additional heating operation A for heat-exchanging the hot water in the storage tank 1 with bathtub water; a bath additional heating operation B for discharging the hot water in the upper part of the storage tank 1 to a bathtub 8; a control means 25 for selecting the bath additional heating operation A and bath additional heating operation B when detecting an instruction of additional heating operation of bathtub water; and a hot water temperature detecting means 20 for detecting the hot water temperature in the storage tank 1. According to such a structure, the bathtub water is additionally heated with high capacity, and a large quantity of hot water of middle temperature is prevented from being left in the storage tank. Further, the hot water filled in the storage tank 1 is boiled up by the heat pump heat source to improve the operation efficiency.
