The invention concerns remotely-operated mine hunting systems. It consists in using a semi-submersible vehicle (105) connected by radio (106, 107) to an operation center (104) located in a Shelter type container and linked by a cable (109) capable of being extended to a fish (108) carrying the sensing and classifying sonar's (111). The invention enables the system to operate on surging sea and to locate the operation center (104) in any particular site such as the deck of a ship (101) or on a shoreline.
