PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently shorten a period of time required for a serviceman to stay on the job site for repairing main equipment provided on a mobile object. SOLUTION: On the mobile object such as a motor vehicle, an on-vehicle LAN 1 is constituted. The on-vehicle LAN 1 is provided with a sensor for acquiring data presenting the states of devices comprising the mobile object. The data acquired by the sensor can be acquired by remotely logging in an on-vehicle server installed on the on-vehicle LAN 1. In an operating terminal 23 and an analyzer 23 of a fault dealing center 2, data presenting the states of devices comprising the mobile object are acquired by performing access through a mobile communication network 3 to the on-vehicle server on the on-vehicle LAN 1. In the case of a fault in the motor vehicle, the on-vehicle LAN 1 is remotely logged in from the fault dealing center 2 and the data presenting the states of the devices comprising the mobile object are acquired. Thus, when any fault occurs in the mobile object, speediness and exactness for dealing with the fault can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
