PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the degradation of an antenna gain. SOLUTION: In the portable telephone, in which one end side of a first housing 1 and one end side of a second housing 2 respectively incorporating electronic components are coupled to be freely folded and an antenna 18 is raised from one end side of the first housing 1 to the outside, a shielding conductor layer 37A formed on the inner wall of the second housing 2 is formed around an area being close to the antenna 18 in the state of opening the first housing 1 and the second housing 2. Besides, among screws for integrating the inner case and the outer case of the second housing 2, a screw 24A being close to the antenna 18 in the state of opening the first housing 1 and the second housing 2 is formed of a non-conductive member.
