PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact mechanism of a switch, of high rated current and AC/DC common use with a long life time, that has less bouncing when on, and can break in a moment when off. SOLUTION: An actuator, which is driven by a reversal member turned with a coil-like reversal spring having a reversal point, is set. Movable contacts 64a, 64b and a push spring 66 are incorporated into a actuator 61. The actuator is advanced slightly, in front of the reversal point of the reversal spring 57, and the movable contacts approach to fixed contacts 63, 67. Then, the actuator is advanced, while a reversal member 58 is reversed, and the movable contacts are surely brought in contact with fixed contacts with very less bouncing. When switched off, the movement of the actuator is stopped by a stopper member 59 before the reversal point of the reversal spring so as not to reduce contact pressure. Then, after reversal point of the reversal spring, lock of the actuator is opened, and the movable contacts are separated instantaneously from the fixed contacts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
