PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent conductive film that has high transparency, superior electromagnetic wave shielding effect and antistatic effect, a transparent image of natural hue and superior durability represented by resistance to salt water, and a coating for the transparent conductive film as well as display device in which the transparent conductive film is formed on a display surface. SOLUTION: This transparent conductive film formed on the display surface of the display device is formed, by applying the coating containing at least a platinum group metal of a mean particle diameter of 50 nm or less, and has the transparent conductive layer containing the platinum based metal of 10 wt.% or more.
