PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device constituted so that the power consumption of the device can be suppressed and also the occurrence of the temperature rise inside the device can be prevented by efficiently heating a fixing body by a heat generating member arranged in the hollow space of the fixing body and prepared for generating and radiating the heat, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the fixing device. SOLUTION: The fixing device is provided with a reflector 4 which is arranged extending in parallel in the axial direction of the fixing roller 1 and prepared for reflecting the heat radiated from the heaters 2 and 3 to the opposite side of the nip part toward the nip part 6 or its vicinity.
