The equipment for moving cut flowers from one transporter to another functions in a greenhouse, bringing together loose cut flowers to form a group (A), using a conveyor belt (1) as first transporter, moving flowers at speeds of 60 meters per minute or more. This transporter is continuously driven at the same speed. This group of flowers is formed into bunches on a processing line, being trimed, de-leafed and bound. This happens at the location of a second transporter (2) positioned immediately next to the first transporter. The second transporter can move discontinuously and also preferably comprises a conveyor belt. It has compartments in which the flowers of group A can be well positioned. A buffer surface (3) is provided for transferring flowers from the first to the second transporter and forms part of a buffer transporter (4) consisting of a conveyor belt connecting sideways to the first transporter, so that the buffer surface is at the same level as the transport surface of the first transporter. The buffer surface also connects at the same level to the transport surface of the second transporter. Above the end part of the first transporter, the buffer transporter and the commencement part of the second transporter is a transfer device (5) for moving the cut flowers of group A via the buffer transporter from the first to the second transporter.
