PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin vortex pump capable of being thinned and simplified in structure to obtain a lower cost and a cooling system provided therewith. SOLUTION: This vortex pump comprises an impeller 1 comprising a number of blades formed at the external periphery of the impeller and a rotor magnet 3 provided at the internal periphery thereof; a motor stator 4 provided at the internal periphery of the rotor magnet 3; and a pump casing for airtightly partitioning the impeller 1 from the motor stator 4, which comprises an intake port and a discharge port.
