<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm present location information of a searched person timely, surely and securely, and also situation such as entrance to the location, exit from the place and staying there. <P>SOLUTION: This present location confirmation system consists of a base station for transmitting location information, a portable terminal of the searched person which receives the location information, and a searcher terminal for informing the present location information of the searched person to the searcher. At least one base station exists in an area which a place name shows, and has a place name, information inside the place and information outside the place as location information. The portable terminal of the searched person stores location information and received time in portable terminal memory, and compares the latest location information from the base station with the preceding location information stored in the memory, thereby deciding the state such as entrance, exit and stay. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
