<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device in which convenience and operability can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: The portable terminal device 1 is provided with a display part 2 having a nearly rectangular display panel 5 for displaying information and an operation part 3 which has a key board 7 and which is pivotally supported by the display part 2. By tilting the pivots 4a and 4b of the operation part 3 with respect to one edge 5a of the display panel 5, the portable terminal device 1 can be closed so that the display part 2 and the operation part 3 may overlap each other, and the display panel 2 is arranged with the short side at the top, and the key board 7 is arranged with the long side at the top in a state where the portable terminal device 1 is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
