DEVICE FOR SIMULATING TRAFFIC STREAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic stream simulation device capable of obtaining a simulation result fitting the reality by reproducing a congestion extension phenomenon with an event scanning method.

SOLUTION: An event processing part 3 extracts a vehicle group whose occurrence time is the closest future to the current simulation time from an event managing part 2, and updates the simulation time to the occurrence time of the extracted vehicle group of a processing object. The event processing part 3 also processes an event about the extracted vehicle group of a processing object. The event processing part performs simulation by repeating the processing. If the vehicle group of a processing object travels through an intersection and travels to a different road connected to the intersection, the event processing part 3 decides whether the vehicle group and travel to the different road, and stops the vehicle group in front of the intersection without making the vehicle group travel to the different road if not travelable.
