PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium reproducing system which can set readily required information. SOLUTION: Setup information is sent to other instruments (step S13), while a main microcomputer of an instrument acting as a setting source makes setting contents reflect in self when a key entry is performed and setting of a setup is discriminated (step S12). While storing a file name in self when an input of the file name is discriminated (step S14), file name information is also sent to other instruments (step S15). On the other hand, when discriminating the reception of the setup information (step S22) in a main microcomputer of an instrument acting as a setting destination, self setting is made to reflect according to the setup information (step S23).
