PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which can obtain a high degree of accuracy at a low cost. SOLUTION: A body 1 is equipped with a laser output section which outputs laser, a light projection lens which condenses the laser outputted from the laser output section, and a deflection means 14 which turns and deflects the laser which has passed through the light projection lens to a cylindrical lens 15 for line light generation as they are arranged in a line in the direction of an optical axis. The body 1 is supported pivotally by a supporter 2. The body 1 is equipped with an adjustment section 35 which adjusts the attitude of the deflection means 14 on the optical axis of the laser outputted through the light projection lens. The body 1 can maintain the predetermined degree of accuracy by adjusting the attitude of the deflection means 14 with the adjustment section 35 which the body 1 is equipped with.
