PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condenser that enables shell parts dividedly and separately fabricated in a factory to be assembled on site more easily and in a short term of work. SOLUTION: The condenser is so designed that in a shell 1 comprising an upper shell 2 and a lower shell 3, the lower shell 3 is divided in two, a first lower shell 17 and a second lower shell 18 divided in two are separately prefabricated, and the separately fabricated first lower shell 17 and second lower shell 18 are connected by welding on site.
