PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mutibeam antenna which enables controlling beam width and side lobe by scanning large amount of formed mutibeams with wide angles. SOLUTION: To achieve the purpose, the multibeam antenna, which forms N (N<NN) pieces of beams by NN pieces of radiating elements, is comprised of switch-matrix 1, M (M>N) pieces of variable antenna power (m) distributor 2, (M+m-1) pieces of power compositor 3, two-dimensional butler matrix 4, MN pieces of phase converter 5, MN pieces of output power variable amplifier 6, MN pieces of high output amplifier 7 and MN pieces of low-pass filter 8.
