PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve shielding efficiency against electromagnetic waves, to reduce the weight of an electromagnetic wave shielding case, and to sufficiently insulate the surface of the case. SOLUTION: In the electromagnetic wave shielding case for storing parts generating electromagnetic waves, a case body 10 is constituted so as to fit and join its aperture peripheral edge to a metallic block 14 and formed by molding a component obtained by adding metallic fibers 22 to be a shielding material to a synthetic resin material 20 of a main component. A conductive member conducting with the metallic fibers 22 is formed on the joint face 13 of the case body 10 with the block 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
