PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a steel sheet pile in which a water cut-off material can be continuously filled from the upper direction to the lower direction of a recessed streak groove when a wall is constructed with the steel sheet pile having the recessed streak groove into which the water cut-off material is filled at a claw bottom part of a joint in a cross-sectional view. SOLUTION: When the steel sheet pile having the recessed streak groove on the inner face of the claw bottom part of the joint in a cross-sectional view is driven in the ground, and at the same time, the wall is constructed by continuously connecting the joint, the tip of the recessed streak groove in the driving direction of the steel sheet pile is covered by a projecting metal fitting, a bar body is inserted into the whole of the recessed streak groove, the driving is executed by making the steel sheet pile vertical while the joint is being continuously connected, after that, the bar body is pulled out, and a water-expansive water cut-off material is filled from above into the cavitied recessed streak groove.
