The septic tank, made by rotomoulding, consists of a chamber (1) with a base (103) and a side wall (104) ending in an upper opening (101) that is closed by a cover. The upper rim (102) of the chamber has a series of peripheral stops (105) that limit the penetration of one tank inside another when they are stacked for transport or storage. The chamber's rim is made by folding over the upper edge of the side wall to form a peripheral cavity which has holes corresponding to the position of the stops. It can also have guides and/or fastenings for the cover, and a groove for a seal.
