摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life prediction method of a coated steel material around a photovoltaic power generation system which enables accurate prediction of the life, to provide the coated steel material around the photovoltaic power generation system on the basis of the life prediction method, and to provide the photovoltaic power generation system incorporating the coated steel material therein. SOLUTION: The prediction method comprises a first step in which the attaching salinity at a prescribed reference position is measured, a second step in which the attaching salinity at one or more sections of a peripheral material is measured, a third step in which the amount of airborne sea salt at the section is obtained based on the attaching salinity at the section and the relation between the amount of airborne sea salt and the attaching salinity at the reference position measured in the first step, a fourth step in which data representing the relation between the amount of corrosion and the exposure time at the section is obtained based on the amount of airborne sea salt at the section and the preset relation between the amount of airborne sea salt and the amount of corrosion, and a fifth step in which the progress of corrosion is predicted based on the data representing the relation between the amount of corrosion and the exposure time.
