PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly achieve facilitation of assembly operation and winding work of a stator of a rotating field electric motor and improvement in a winding space factor and in insulation by an insulator. SOLUTION: A tooth 5 is formed bendable so that base edges of the tooth 5 where an adjoining junction 5b can be developed. Insulator 9 has a covering part 11 in a slot extending to an axial direction and a tooth end face covering part which connects the adjoining covering parts 11 in the slot which the tooth extend to the circumferential direction and covers the other end face of the axial direction, and is assembled in the tooth 5. The covering part 11 in the slot has a slit 13 in the position which covers inner circumference surface of the outer core and a junction 14c is formed bendable so that the covering part 11 in the slot can be developed from the slit 13. In a winding 8, an interval of the teeth 5 and the junction 5b, 14c are bent in order to expand to open the covering parts 11 in the slot at both side of the tooth 5 in which the wire is wound.
