PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an imaging system in which a line noise, caused by a random noise component generated in a reference power supply circuit, is prevented in a photographed image. SOLUTION: In a photographing apparatus comprising an area sensor performing matrix drive, and a reference power supply circuit supplying a reference potential for driving the area sensor, the reference potential is supplied through a low-pass filter (LPF) 103 connected with the reference power supply circuit. Cut-off frequency of the low-pass filter is determined such that the noise effective value of the reference potential passed through the low-pass filter is not higher than 1/10 of the random noise effective value being generated in the pixel of the area sensor.
