PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a lubricative film which is efficient in lowering the floating height of a head and the prevention of vibration, regarding the lubricative film of a magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: The lubricative film having a small surface roughness is formed by making a lubricative layer of a perfluoropolyether based liquid lubricant including a functional group having the polarity at both terminal parts and at least one intermediate part. Thus, the lowering of the floating height of the head and the prevention of vibration are realized by forming the lubricative film having the small surface roughness, and the magnetic disk apparatus having the high reliability can be manufactured.
