PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waste incineration equipment and a method for restraining a toxic substance discharged outside a system on the downstream side by proper treatment of the separated unburnt content such as capturing and separating the solid unburnt content including dioxin and the like or its precursor in pyrolytic gas, in the stoker type waste incineration equipment and the method. SOLUTION: This stoker type waste gasification incineration equipment is characterized by having a stoker furnace for burning waste under insufficiency of oxygen together with primary air by supplying the waste on a fire grate, a secondary combustion furnace for burning a substantial combustible gas component in the pyrolytic gas generated from the stoker furnace together with secondary air, and a solid component separating means for separating a solid component accompanied by the pyrolytic gas generated from the stoker furnace between the stoker furnace and the secondary combustion furnace.
