PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reluctor ring for a signal generator capable of preventing the signal generator from being enlarged, and reducing its installation space. SOLUTION: This reluctor ring comprises a ring 15 mounted on an outer periphery of a rotor yoke 4, and a number of reluctors 12 mounted on the ring 15. The ring 15 is formed by molding a band plate 10 made of a magnetic member and bent into a ring shape in a state where its plate thickness direction is oriented toward the radial direction of the ring part 15, and both ends 10a of the band plate 10 are connected to each other at a welding part 13. Each reluctor 12 is formed on a peripheral part of each of holes 11 formed in the ring 15 at specific intervals in the circumferential direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
