PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a cooling water to a water cooled oil cooler without cost increase nor complication of a passage piping. SOLUTION: The objective oil cooler device is provided with a water pump 23 which is disposed at the front side of an engine 1 body and supplies the cooling water into the engine body, a cooling water discharge port 10a which is arranged at the rear side of the engine body and discharges the cooling water from the water pump 23 to the outside of the engine body, and a water cooled oil cooler 14 for cooling an engine lubricant by the cooling water discharged from the discharge port 10a. The oil cooler 14 is arranged at the air intake side at which the intake system components are disposed and further, there is provided a cooling water passage 18 for returning the cooling water discharged from the discharge port 10a to the suction side of the water pump 23 through the oil cooler 14 and the intake system components. Therefore, since the cooling water passage 18 for the oil cooler can be served as that for the intake system components, the piping therefor can be simplified. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
