PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skylight capable of being adopted in a fire preventive district by fire protecting specifications. SOLUTION: In the skylight in which lower pane 28 along a wall section and upper pane 30 along a roof section are connected inside a window frame 1 installed extending over the roof section and wall section of a building skeleton under a bent state, a metallic fire preventive attachment 18 is interposed to the abutting sections of the lower pane and the upper pane, and taking-in sections 24 and 23 accepting end sections on the abutting sides of the pane 30 and 28 of the upper and lower sections are formed to the fire preventive attachment 18 while the taking-in sections 24 and 23 have an accept depth in an extent that the drop out of the pane in the upper and lower sections is prevented even under the state in which sealing materials 29 sealing and fixing the pane 30 and 28 in the upper and lower sections are melted by heat.
