<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which improves the workability in hanging an indoor unit on a wall while utilizing a mounting frame. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with the mounting frame 23 fixed to the wall 21 for hanging the indoor unit 1 on the wall, wherein the pipe connection and the like is performed in a state where the indoor unit 1 is inclined by using a supporting bar 25 extended from the indoor unit side as a prop, and then the supporting bar 25 is removed to fix the indoor unit 1 to the mounting frame 23.
