PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable maintenance work without removing a radome in maintenance of an array antenna mounted on a wall. SOLUTION: A maintenance device has a maintenance gondola 4 at the lower part within a radome 3 of an array antenna 2, a hoisting machine 5 at the upper part within the radome 3, and a gondola guide 7 at both sides of the array antenna 2 within the radome 3. Thus, the maintenance gondola 4 can be hoisted by a hoist rope 6 up to any maintenance position without contacting the array antenna 2. Also, a gate 8 is formed on the wall of a building 1 which enables the access to inside the radome 3 at the time of maintenance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
