Car with bonnet (hood) can be slid on guide rails into its covering plane

The car has a bonnet (12) which covers the engine compartment (14) when closed, and which can be moved into a servicing position and also wider open into a workshop position. it is attached to the bodywork by guide rails. The bonnet can be slid along the guide rails into its covering plane. All possible servicing and workshop positions are at the end of the engine compartment left free in the servicing position. There is also a further position for detaching the bonnet altogether.
