<p>A car navigation device, wherein, when a vehicle comes out of a specified route (r1) passing through a passing place (W) of guide routes and enters a route (r2) leading to a destination (E) after passing through the passing place and a distance (L) between the current position of the vehicle and the passing place (W) is equal to or below a specified value (d), the guiding of traveling to the destination (E) is performed without passing through the passing place (W), and when the distance (L) between the current position of the vehicle and the passing place (W) exceeds the specified value (d), the guide route (r1) leading to the destination via the passing place (W) is re-set, whereby the guide route is maximally prevented from being switched over to the route (r2) after passing through the passing place (W) and, even if the route is switched to the route (r2) after passing through the passing place, the vehicle can easily go to the passing place (W).</p> |
