It is intended to provide a seasoning instrument and a seasoning piece whereby bitter and astringent components can be easily and less expensively removed from coffee, black tea, green tea, herb teas, herbs and so on. A handle 11 of a seasoning instrument 13 is picked with fingers. Then a seasoning part 7 is put into a drink 17 coffee, etc. in a cup 15 and stirred appropriate times. Thus, bitter and astringent components in the drink 17 coffee, etc. are adsorbed by agar, with which the seasoning part 7 is impregnated, and thus the bitterness and astringency are relieved.
