<p>The present invention relates to a method for the, electrical testing of a protective polymeric layer of an electrical cable comprising at least one metal element in a position radially internal to said protective polymeric layer. This method comprises the steps of applying a semiconductive polymeric layer in a position radially external to said protective polymeric layer, and of electrically connecting said semiconductive polymeric layer to said at least one metal layer. The present invention also relates to an electrical cable comprising a semiconductive polymeric layer in a position radially external to said protective polymeric layer, and also to a process for producing said cable.</p> |
