<p>This invention relates to communication systems and QSIG (20) communication methods. According to a first aspect, a communication system includes a control component (18); and a data network (16) configured to communicate packets of information intermediate an original location (24) and terminal location (26), the original location (24) being configured to receive a QSIG communication including a content portion and a signal portion, wherein the data network (16) is configured to communicate the signaling portion to the control component (18) and the control component (18) is configured to establish a connection within the data network intermediate the original location (24) and terminating location (26) responsive to the signaling portion, and wherein the data network is further configured to communicate the content portion of the communication within a plurality of packets intermediate the original location (24) and the terminating location using the connection.</p> |
