A first liquid crystal display section (1) and a second liquid crystal display section (2) are folded unfoldably in front of a third liquid crystal display section (3) provided in front of a telephone body (5) such that all the liquid crystal display sections (1, 2, 3) are directed frontward when they are unfolded on the same plane. When the first liquid crystal display section (1) and the second liquid crystal display section (2) are folded on to the telephone body (5), the first liquid crystal display section (1) is exposed to the front of the telephone body (5) and the third liquid crystal display section (3) is concealed behind the folded second liquid crystal display section (2).
