A method for maintenance of a car, comprising the steps of lifting a maintained car (V) by a lift (1) installed on a floor (G) and concurrently performing an operation for maintaining the leg area of the lifted car (V) by using leg area maintenance operation carts (2) having wheel support parts (12) for placing thereon wheels (H) removed from the car (V) and an operation for maintaining the engine area of the lifted car (V) by using an engine area maintenance operation cart (4) having a high−lift work step (42) held at a height suitable for the maintenance of the engine area of the lifted car (V) and a step ladder (43) for climbing up and down the high−lift work step (42), whereby the leg area and the engine area can be efficiently maintained concurrently.
