<p>The invention concerns a linear block ethylene copolymer, comprising: at least two blocks having different glass transition temperatures (Tg); at least one of said blocks having a glass transition temperature not less than 20 °C; said polymer having further mechanical parameters which fulfill at least one among the following three conditions: a YOUNG modulus E, such that 500 MPa ≤ E ≤ 2000 MPa; a rupture strain εr, such that 5 % ≤ εr ≤ 50 %; a rupture strain energy Wr, such that 0.1 x 105 J/m3 < Wr < 150.105 J/m3. The invention also concerns a cosmetic composition comprising said polymer. The copolymer enables to enhance hair styling power and maintenance of hair lacquer, increase adhesion and wear resistance of nail varnish and improve maintenance of a make-up compositions without making them tacky.</p> |
