A building construction of the kind including a wall structure and a roof structure mounted on the wall structure, the roof structure including a ridge assembly (25) including a radius end (27) relative to which is secured a plurality of rafters (17), each of the rafters (17) extending downwardly towards the wall structure, the rafters (17) each being elongate and each having two mutually outwardly extending side portions (19, 20) which are shaped at an end region (R) of the rafter (17) so that the width of the rafter (17) decreases from a position (P) inwardly of the end (17a) of the rafter (17) which is secured to the radius end (25), towards the end (17a), the construction including a capping member (10) generally of channel configuration to receive the rafter end region (R) therein, the capping member (10) being configured generally to correspond to the shape of the rafter end region (R).
