<p>It is intended to provide medicinal compositions for nasal absorption which are excellent in the absorbability of a physiologically active polypeptide contained therein as the active ingredient in vivo in the case of the administration into the nasal cavity (nasal administration). More specifically, medicinal compositions for nasal absorption wherein an acidic physiologically active polypeptide having an isoelectric point of 7 or below is uniformly dispersed or embedded in a water-insoluble or hardly water-soluble polyvalent metal compound carrier, for example, a bivalent or more metal compound such as an aluminum compound, a calcium compound, a magnesium compound, a silicon compound, an iron compound or a zinc compound with the use of an additive whereby the polypeptide can be dispersed or embedded in the carrier surface.</p> |
