The invention relates to a throttle valve housing, particularly for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, comprising a tubular housing part (1) whose flow-through channel (2) can be closed off from a gaseous medium by means of a throttle valve (4) mounted on a throttle valve shaft (3). A tubular inlet area (9) and a tubular outlet area (10) are situated at the ends of the housing part (1), have flow-though openings (11) that extend the flow-though channel (2), and can be detachably connected to a supply tube and a discharge tube. The inlet area (9) and the outlet area (10) can be produced as separate parts and can be connected to the housing part (1) in a fixed manner. |
