<p>The present invention discloses an arrangement and a method for defining and controlling, by an end-user, the distribution of messages in a messaging environment of a communication network. According to the invention, a user interface is provided on a user terminal for the user to create new or modify existing policies stored in a policy database. The policies may comprise lists of valid receivers being allowed to receive and/or forward messages to which the policies are bound. Messages sent from the end-user may then be assigned these new/modified policies by including the policy name in the address of the messages at publishing. The messaging infrastructure will then bind the respective policies to the messages so that any further sending will result in that the associated policies will be enforced.</p> |
