<p>Each connector (2) of the vertebral anchoring system for spinal fixation comprises: a first element (6) comprising parallel housings in cylinder portion (8, 9) receiving respectively the corresponding linking rod (4, 5) and a threaded hollow cylindrical sleeve (12) extending vertically between said housings (8, 9); a second element (7) comprising parallel housings in cylinder portion (10, 11) receiving respectively the corresponding linking rod (4, 5) and a bore (25) provided between said housings (10, 11) to be traversed by the cylindrical sleeve (12) of the first element (6); a clamping nut (14) co-operating with a male thread (13) of the cylindrical sleeve (12) of the first element (6) for fixing the second element (7) on the first (6) and the linking rods (4, 5) in the housings (8, 9, 10, 11); and clamping means (28, 32) co-operating with the cylindrical sleeve (12) of the first element (6) for fixing each connector (2) on the corresponding anchoring screw (3, 30).</p> |
