The invention concerns a switching module comprising contactors (213, 215) borne by conductive straps (211) for switching the strip conductors (1-4) of a first (10) cable maintained on a first retaining surface (209) with the strip conductors (A-D) of a second cable (20) maintained on a second retaining surface (207). The invention is characterized in that the contactors borne by a common conductive strap (211) establish an electrical contact between any particular one among the strip conductors (1-4) of the first cable (10) and any particular one of the strip conductors (A-D) of the second cable (20). In a preferred embodiment, the contactors (213, 215) borne by a common strap (211) are received in housings (217) open or closed on both retaining surfaces (207, 209) to be respectively extended or retracted relative to one another so as to establish the electrical contact with the extended contactors but not the retracted contactors.
